Laura is an Associate at Hicksons Lawyers in the Workers Compensation team.
Having originally worked as a paralegal in the Workers Compensation team at Hicksons for over two years, Laura gained the valuable experience and knowledge to become admitted as a Solicitor which has now been followed by Associate.
Laura specialises in defending personal injury and workers compensation claims, including Statutory Workers Compensation, Work Injury Damages and Residual Jurisdiction matters. She has extensive experience in the Local, District and Supreme Courts, NSW Court of Appeal and the Personal Injury Commission. She specialises in defending personal injury and workers compensation claims including work injury damages and residual jurisdiction claims, and advises on matters involving the common law/civil jurisdiction as well as residual jurisdiction.
Laura holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours), a Diploma for Legal Practice, and a Bachelor of Business (International Business) from the University of Newcastle.
In February 2020, Laura was admitted into the Supreme Court of NSW.
