Stewart is a Partner and leads our Worker Insurance Team, with over 35 years’ experience advising and representing insurers, government, claims service providers and employers across all aspects of workplace injury issues.
In his previous role as Managing Partner for 5 years, Stewart was key in helping to move the firm towards the realisation of our 2025 vision, including retaining and deepening valued client relationships, fostering diversity within the Board, and topping the AFR’s most recent survey for diversity at the partner level.
Stewart’s strong knowledge of the insurance industry and an in-depth understanding of our clients’ business, culture and social motivations, enables him to collaborate strategically and advise on ways to pro-actively assist clients meet their business objectives.
Stewart holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Laws and began with Hicksons in 1987. He is admitted to practice in NSW and the ACT and is a member of Australian Insurance Law Association.
