Program Overview
Our Graduate Program commences in March and runs over a 12-month period, where each Graduate will undertake a rotation across different practice groups, either in our Sydney or Newcastle office.
As part of the Graduate Program, you will be exposed to various commercial and practical tasks, that will allow you to build upon on your legal skills, enhance your technical knowledge and your professional development, while fostered by a supportive framework and culture.
Sydney Program
Tailored to your future career goals, we offer two specific Graduate streams, across our Insurance Litigation and Commercial practice groups.
Our Insurance Litigation focused Graduate Program runs over a 12-month period, where you have the choice to rotate through
2 of our 3 practice groups (
Workers Compensation,
Health and
General Insurance). On a
6-month rotation, you will be exposed to a range of insurance matters, across liability, workers compensation, health and sensitive claim matters, personal injury, recoveries, professional indemnity, and compulsory third party.
Our Commercial focused Graduate Program runs over a 12-month period, across
3 of our practice groups. You will rotate every 4 months
through our
Corporate Commercial,
Real Estate & Construction and
Commercial Litigation practice groups.
Newcastle Program
Our Newcastle Graduate Program runs over a 12-month period, across 3 of our practice groups on a 4-month rotation, including Workers Compensation, Commercial Litigation and Workplace Relations. You will have the opportunity to participate and contribute to group activities with direct access to Partners, senior lawyers and other team members.

To transition into our team, you will have completed your LLB (or equivalent); and be eligible to hold a current NSW Practising Certificate.

Application Process
To be eligible for the Graduate Program, you must be a citizen or permanent resident of Australia or have the right to work in a full-time role in Australia.
Applicants must have completed their LLB (or equivalent) and be eligible to hold a current NSW Practising Certificate with less than 12 months post admission legal work experience.
All applications should include a cover letter as well as details of your work experience, extra-curricular activities, interests, and academic results.
