An opportunity to grow our medical negligence team has arisen and we are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified lawyer with 2+ years PQE. You will be exposed to a range of matters including coronial inquests medical negligence cases involving the public health system and medical specialists. You will be responsible for a varied file load where you will work collaboratively within a team of experts.
You will be confident in working independently and possess excellent drafting skills, strong organisational skills and high level written and verbal communication. The ideal candidate will have a sound academic record together with the following experience:
- A background in medical negligence with a strong grasp of medico legal concepts
- Ability to provide clear advice on legal rights and obligations of parties in a diverse range of medical negligence claims
- Experience in coronial matters for public hospitals and unlitigated claims against public hospitals and medical specialists
- Enthusiastic professional looking to progress their career
