Roslyn is a special counsel based in Newcastle. She works exclusively in wills & estates, with a particular focus on estate and succession planning.
Roslyn has extensive experience in a broad range of matters including wills, trusts, testamentary trusts, superannuation, powers of attorney, enduring guardianships, deceased estates, probate and administration, and estate litigation.
Roslyn is an expert in formulating strategies to ensure a person's entire wealth is transferred to the next generation in the most tax-effective manner, while providing asset protection for the beneficiaries. She also assists families with vulnerable beneficiaries such as those with severe disabilities, or drug, alcohol or gambling addictions.
Roslyn works closely with clients to understand their estate planning objectives and to implement estate plans which reflect their unique family circumstances and the nature of their assets. This involves careful consideration of all assets including those held within superannuation, trusts and companies which results in a bespoke estate plan for each client.
Roslyn holds a Bachelor of Legal Studies from Macquarie University and a Master of Applied Law (Wills and Estates) from the College of Law Sydney. She is a Registered Trust and Estate Practitioner with STEP (Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners).
