Jacklyn is a Senior Associate within the Workers Compensation team at our Newcastle office. She specialises in advising our clients in respect of defendant workers compensation claims, including work injury damages claims.
Jacklyn has practised in the areas of personal injury, including motor vehicle accident, medical negligence, public liability and workers compensation claims since 2016, previously acting for plaintiff claims and now assisting in defendant claims. She also has experience in advising past clients, including individuals and companies, in respect of debt recovery matters, employment disputes and commercial litigation matters. Jacklyn has experience in Local and District Court and has appeared for both infant approval and substantive Hearings.
Prior to joining the team at Hicksons, Jacklyn also completed work in the area of Estate Planning and continues to provide clients with this advice.
Jacklyn graduated from the University of Newcastle in 2014 and was admitted to the Supreme Court of NSW in 2015.
