As a Senior Associate within the Hicksons’ Health and Insurance team, Eun Sil has experience in defending state agencies and visiting medical officers (VMOs).
Prior to being admitted as a solicitor, Eun Sil practised as a registered nurse in both public and private sectors in the areas of emergency, intensive care and paediatric medicine. Eun Sil also carried out a role involved in consulting, researching, assessing and reviewing the delivery of clinical services. She took a role in patient incident management in the healthcare sector for quality improvement as well as education and training of health professionals in safe and quality health services. Eun Sil brings an extensive experience as registered nurse practitioner in health care to defendant insurance litigation.
Eun Sil has a unique ability to appreciate the needs of her health care clients. The dual experience of being a registered nurse and lawyer allows Eun Sil to provide practical and commercial solutions to clients’ medico-legal issues. Eun Sil represents her clients in a variety of forums such as the Supreme Court of New South Wales and District Court of New South Wales.
