Sarah has extensive experience in employment and safety law and advises employers on drafting and amending employment contracts, human resources policies, breaches of employment contracts, termination of contracts and post-employment obligations.
She also advises on unfair dismissal and general protection disputes, unlawful termination and discrimination claims, and on award obligations.
Through her knowledge of the Work Health and Safety Act and related legislation, Sarah can provide clients with practical advice about work health and safety
responsibilities and help with SafeWork investigations and prosecutions.
Sarah has represented clients in the Fair Work and Industrial Relations commissions, the High, Federal, Supreme, District and Local courts and the Court of Appeal.
Holding a Bachelor of Science (Psychology), Bachelor of Laws and graduate diploma in management, Sarah began with Hicksons in 1990 and is admitted to practice in NSW, the ACT and the Northern Territory.
