Hicksons is a mid-tier law firm with offices located in Sydney, Newcastle and Canberra.  Our firm provides a full range of corporate, commercial, IT, property and insurance law services to corporate and government clients.

We are looking to appoint a Senior Legal Secretary in one of our Insurance groups in our Sydney office.

You will be responsible for managing diaries, co-ordinating client communications, producing documents and correspondence, managing files, preparing billings and assisting with general secretarial and administration duties. This role is multi-faceted and requires an individual with initiative and a professional approach to their work.

Experience required:

  • 2+ years legal experience
  • Minimum typing speed of 55+ wpm
  • Ability to prioritise and multi task
  • Be self sufficient, organised and team orientated
  • Advanced in Microsoft Word
  • Basic to intermediate in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent organisational and multi-tasking skills
  • Dictaphone experience essential
  • Good written and communication skills
