IT & Commercial Lawyer 4-6 Years PAE
Hicksons Lawyers is a mid tier law firm with offices located in Sydney, Newcastle and Canberra. Our firm provides a full range of corporate, commercial, IT, property and insurance law services to corporate and government clients.
We are seeking to appoint an IT & Commercial Lawyer with 4-6 years experience.
You will be exposed to a range of general IT and commercial work and would be expected to draft well (not using precedents) and be able to provide input on commercial strategey in negotiating and structuring deals.
The ideal candidate would have the following experience:
- Drafting IT agreements (such as licensing, hardware acquisition, outsourcing) for corporate and government clients
- Negotiating IT agreements with suppliers and those procuring services
- Advising on procurement processes for corporate and government clients
- Plain English drafting
It is important to us that our lawyers are able to focus on client’s needs, have strong verbal and written communication skills, be self-motivated and have well developed analytical skills.
