Hicksons is delighted to announce that it has made 7 internal promotions with effect from 1 July 2016.

These include:

Commenting on the promotions, Managing Partner John Markos said:

"Career progression is important in every lawyer's working life. As Managing Partner, it is particularly pleasing to be able to acknowledge those milestones. This year Hicksons had a very strong group of candidates for promotion and this depth and development enhances the firm's ability to serve our clients, both now and in the future.

It is always pleasing to welcome someone as well regarded as Freida to the partnership and I congratulate her on the appointment. Freida is an accomplished and leading insurance litigator with more than 20 years' experience; representing insurers, self-insurers and large Australian companies. She has been an integral part of our team as a special counsel and will enhance the business as a partner."

Commenting on her promotion, Freida Stylianou said:

"I am delighted to be part of such a dynamic insurance practice and firm and look forward to contributing as a partner to Hicksons at a very exciting stage of new growth."
