Partner Derek Luxford delivered a presentation titled Maximising Value and Managing Risks for 3PL Contracts at the Supply Chain Management Conference in Sydney on 23 - 25 August 2010.

Conference organisers also invited Derek to chair the sessions on the second day of the conference.

In his presentation, Derek discussed the following topics -
 

• drafting contracts that clearly state who holds liability for damaged goods and the amount of compensation
• ensuring that your obligations are clearly understood by both parties and allow scope for subsequent change if necessary
• ensuring the commercial expectations are properly expressed in a legally enforceable manner, and  
• minimising and resolving disputes.
